Understanding your Power bill
Your power bill comes from the Energy Retailer such as, Meridian, Genesis, Contact, Mercury, Empower that sells you electricity distributed through Northpower’s lines network in Whangarei and Kaipara districts. On your power bill you will see energy (electricity) charges, which are paid to your Energy Retailer and lines charges, which are paid to Northpower to maintain our lines network.
Regardless of which Energy Retailer you choose, you will continue to receive any rebates, dividends and interest distributions that Northpower may make.
