Northpower’s Technical Services Team can provide a comprehensive range of services including project management, installation and commissioning of high voltage equipment. Northpower also has experience in developing and implementing complete transformer maintenance packages up to and including complete refurbishment.

Services include:

Complete design, build and installation of substations.

Preventative maintenance, planning, scheduling of HV systems

Condition monitoring of power and instrument transformers, switchgear, cables and earthingsystems.

Commissioning of protection schemes, primary and secondary ancillary plants and remote control monitoring equipment.

Testing including: partial discharge, insulation resistance, infrared or thermal scanning, dissolved gas analysis, contact resistance and circuit breaker timing.
